‘The Big Bang Theory’ season 8, episode 9 preview: Leonard’s operation; Sheldon’s pain

Here it is -Isn’t this the sort of thing that would happen on “The Big Bang Theory“? Right at the time when Leonard needs all of the love and support of his friends, Sheldon finds a way to come in and get most of the attention for himself.

The way that this happens in next week’s “The Septum Deviation” is somewhat incidental. The story starts when Leonard decides to get surgery, seemingly in order to cure himself of a deviated septum. (Hence the title.) However, while he is in the hospital there is seemingly an earthquake, and then most of the power goes out. Then, he starts to panic, and in his quest to check on his friend, he ends up injuring his own nose in the process.

What we really hope for this episode right now is mostly that it is silly, largely because this is something the CBS sitcom is clearly missing out on right now. It’s been a while since we have gotten a chance to enjoy this sort of silly comedy, and we are very much looking forward to this opportunity. The prom was a little more emotional, and it was nice to see that Sheldon had moved on to the point where he was able to tell Amy that he loved her.

We will have some further updates soon related to this episode, and some that will hopefully give us a better sense as to what is going to be happening for some other characters. Stay tuned!
