‘Criminal Minds’ season 10, episode 7 preview: Morgan, Savannah trouble in ‘Hashtag’
What is this? Another crime procedural following a common theme? It was less than two weeks ago that “Castle” brought up the internet-based episode “Meme is Murder,” and going into “Criminal Minds” next week, we are going to have another episode in “Hashtag” that is also going to bring many of these same themes to the table.
As the synopsis below first makes it clear, there is a case that the BAU has to take on regarding a dangerous and internet-savvy UnSub. Luckily if this case feels a little too run-of-the-mill for you, there is also another storyline here regarding Morgan and Savannah’s latest relationship woes thanks to their jobs:
“When victims with large social media followings are found dead in Maryland, the BAU searches for an UnSub taking on the persona of an Internet urban legend. Meanwhile, Morgan and Savannah struggle to find quality time for each other with their busy careers.”
We’ll be surprised if there are any particular big surprises in this episode based just on this synopsis; hopefully, the series is going to find a way to surprise us both when the personal story, and also with the case itself. There are at least a few more episodes coming up this fall, so in the event that this one is a dud, it will be followed up with some other installments soon enough.
Stay tuned; we’ll have even more on “Criminal Minds” soon!
