ABC’s ‘Castle’ season 7 spoilers: Boss on wedding for Nathan Fillion’s Rick, Stana Katic’s Kate

For those wondering precisely what you are going to see from the big wedding on “Castle” season 7, we can at least give you a few little updates right now … including that this is not going to be one of those TV weddings that has the feel as though it was planned a long time in advance.

Speaking on the upcoming episode “Time of Our Lives” airing a week from Monday, showrunner David Amann told Entertainment Weekly that the focus for all parties involved here is making sure this is precisely the wedding that fans want. There are not going to be any last-minute changes or tricks this time around:

“[The ceremony] isn’t going to be like their last wedding … It comes together in a slightly more hasty fashion. But that being said, it’s incredibly romantic and moving, and I think the fans are really going to feel like it’s the culmination of 6-plus seasons of this relationship.”

Basically, this is hopefully going to make you happy. The only concern that we have at the moment when it comes to this episode is that we know there is the whole “what if?” component in here, as well, which means that the wedding itself could end up being a little bit rushed. This is what we felt after watching the wedding on “Bones” last season, which was still nice, but felt a little bit too quick given all of the buildup.
