‘The Walking Dead’ season 5, episode 4 preview: What happens with Emily Kinney’s Beth
Sunday night’s new episode of “The Walking Dead” is going to be a pretty darn critical one for many characters, but at the top of the list has to be Beth. Emily Kinney’s character was first separated from Daryl last season, and since that time, she has been forced to survive in her own way.
How bad is Beth going to be in danger during “Stabtown”? This is a question with a very lengthy response. According to Entertainment Weekly, she will be in bad shape, but it may not be as bad as some of the situations we saw in the past with The Governor.
One of the things that you really have to look out for here is something that may constitute “good news.” Not everyone where Beth is should be considered evil, and she may be able to find in here an unlikely ally or two. We can only hope, right? Maybe this will be just enough to give her hope so that someone else could end up rescuing her.
The promo that AMC released earlier this week did promise a whole lot of danger, but hopefully a few personal stories to boot. One of the best episodes last season focused almost entirely on Daryl and Beth, and after seeing so many episodes this season that are focusing on a very large group, it is nice to see something that constitutes a very different approach now.
Let’s just hope that the show did not waste so much time getting us to this episode, only to kill the Beth character off.

I don’t want them to kill off Beth but I also don’t want her with Daryl. I can’t see him with Carol either. Maybe Machonne.

Still was definitely one of the top 3 episodes last season and I’m glad Beth is getting her own independent moment to shine and kick ass! She’s definitely emerging as a fan favorite and I can’t wait to see how she adapts to the new environment! Let’s hope she reunites with Daryl soon and makes an escape out of whatever situation she is stuck in!

Still had such good character development for both Beth and Daryl. I’m so excited to see that continue for Beth in Slabtown. It would be a complete waste to kill her off this season, not to mention a complete copy of Andrea.

Um, but Still was terrible.

AGREED to ALL of that —— the best character study they ever did was “Still” —— and I would really hate they finally develop her and kill her off.

First of all, ”Still” (Beth and Daryl episode) was one of the worst episodes of S4 and yes Beth will die mid-season finale.
