‘The Walking Dead’ season 5, episode 4 preview: Emily Kinney’s Beth returns in ‘Stabtown’

The Walking Dead -Tonight, “The Walking Dead” had an episode that was above shocking for a variety of different reasons, but the biggest one was seeing the Grim Reaper come for not just one, but two separate people.

The biggest shock to us right now is losing Gareth, given that we had thought he was going to be the answer to The Governor this season, and he would be the Big Bad that lasts for a while. Unfortunately, he and the majority of the other folks at Terminus were completely taken out and taken down. Bob is also no longer with us, but let’s be honest: Didn’t we all see this one coming from a mile away?

The next new episode is entitled “Stabtown,” and it is taking a very different approach in casting the focus on Beth (Emily Kinney), who has not received much time at all in the spotlight since the end of last season. We are about to figure out just where she is, what will happen to her, and if it is possible for her to return to the others.

We do definitely hope that she survives, if for no other reason than that if she leaves, we really will start to feel super-awful for Maggie. She’s already lost her father in Hershel; how rough is this situation going to become for her? We know it is a post-apocalyptic world, but still.
