‘Major Crimes’ season 3 spoilers: ‘Revolution’ alum returns for two-episode arc
Things are about to get very intense on “Major Crimes” season 3. Namely, we’re about to see one of the most-notable villains from the days of “The Closer” return for what will be a powerful arc to close off the story for the time being.
In news that was first reported by TVLine, Billy Burke (who is coming off of his time on “Revolution”) will appear as Phillip Stroh, the notorious character who Brenda previously risked almost everything when it comes to her career to try and take down. He has been mentioned on “Major Crimes” as of late, but when we see him again, he will be representing himself as the legal battle over his fate becomes so much more intense.
These final episodes of the show are going to air on January 12 and 19, which means that there are likely to be some breaks here and there in the second half of this season, which returns to TNT later next month.
Regardless of how this story goes, we’re sure that it will be a healthy ratings boon for the network. “Major Crimes” is already one of the most-popular shows that TNT has in their arsenal, and we don’t see that changing anytime soon … even if it does not necessarily have the same amount of ratings power behind it that “The Closer” did.
With us still being many weeks out from the show’s return, we imagine that there is going to be a whole lot more to report. Stay tuned for some of that.
