ABC’s ‘Castle’ season 7, episode 5 preview: Stana Katic, Nathan Fillion take on ‘Meme is Murder’
Next week, “Castle” is going to be entering the social-media age, and if our predictions are correct, we may be on the cusp of a very awesome (and very fun) episode. Just the title alone has us excited: “Meme Is Murder.”
Will Rick (Nathan Fillion) and Kate (Stana Katic) be able to use technology in order to properly solve a mystery? It’s a plot that has been done on other shows in the past, but we don’t think that anyone has done it on the level that writer Jim Adler and the rest of the team are next week. After all, we’re just starting to be at an age when YouTubers and Vine stars are starting to become known as big celebrities in their own right.
For some more details on what you can expect right now, take a look at the official synopsis:
“When a web celebrity is murdered, Castle and Beckett explore the flashy world of internet fame. But when the killer posts pictures from the crime scene on a photo-sharing site, they realize they are up against a social media sociopath who may strike again.”
The episode’s promo is a little more suspenseful, since it makes it clear that whoever is out there killing these people using the power of the internet, they are going to be targeted both Castle and Beckett in their own way. With that in mind, these two really better watch their backs at just about every step.
