‘The X Factor’ UK: On Jack Walton, Jake Quickenden, Stephanie Nala, and Chloe Jasmine

The judges -Going into every “X Factor” UK results show, we’re going to do our best to try and figure out just who of the participating contestants will be sent home … though it is pretty complicated when you don’t have a whole lot of choices.

The person we feel is almost a lock at this point for so many reasons is Stephanie Nala. Going into the season, we felt like she had a big shot; but she proved last week that there are not nearly as many fans of her old “Britain’s Got Talent” group Luminites as we thought there would be going into this. She just seemed better suited on stage with all of them than on the stage right now by herself.

Who really should go at this point is Jake Quickenden, who really feels like a much better frontman than he is a solo singer. He just doesn’t have the best singing voice; he’s a cool guy and he looks like a rock star, but there’s a reason so many rock stars have a band. They can use the style and the instruments to help overcome some of their vocal flaws.

As for some others who are in trouble, Jack Walton went very early in the show and could be forgotten about. Meanwhile, we are worried slightly about Chloe Jasmine, given that we don’t see most of Britain connecting with her. Right now, she would probably be the closest thing to a shock boot that the show could deliver. None of the big favorites like Andrea Faustini or Lauren Platt are going home.
