‘The Originals’ season 2, episode 3 preview: The food is alive!

There’s nothing better much of the time than an “Originals” sneak peek, except for maybe one that also somehow features food coming to life!

In the sneak peek below, we have what has to be one of the more curious things that we’ve seen on the show in a little while. Klaus (Joseph Morgan), Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin), and Elijah (Daniel Gillies) all seem to be gathering for a dinner of sorts, but there is still one enormous mystery at the center of it: Who is actually responsible for the food? Nobody knows the answer to that just yet.

Given that the title for this particular episode is “Every Mother’s Son,” we still figure that it is probably not altogether difficult to point the finger largely in the direction of one person who has been known a few times over her complicated, devious strategies already: Esther. She has a clear plan for what she wants to do to destroy her son, and in this episode, that is going to become a little clearer.

With this being said, wouldn’t this episode be even better if all of the food really was alive? Think of it as “Attack of the Killer Tomatoes” or some other great B-movie, except potentially with even more mayhem.
