ABC’s ‘Revenge’ season 4 spoilers: Could Emily VanCamp, Madeleine Stowe’s characters find ‘Atonement’?
Ready for some “Revenge” episode-title scoop? It’s been a little while since we’ve had an article on this particular subject, but sometimes there are some fascinating things that come out of the names to some of these particular episodes.
As the Twitter post below from Ted Sullivan makes it clear, “Atonement” will be the title for the tenth episode of this season, which we are assuming will air near the end of this fall as the end of the first half of the season. Unless ABC does something weird with their scheduling like they did with “Revenge” last year, we assume that the show is airing their seasons in halves, with the second part coming in March.
So what does “Atonement” mean in the context of this particular show? Well, let’s just say that there are quite a few characters that need it. Emily Thorne (Emily VanCamp) is going to have to figure out, for example, how she is going to handle being in a world where her father is actually alive, and whether or not there is something she regrets.
Meanwhile, we’d sit here all day talking about the ways that Victoria Grayson (Madeleine Stowe) has hurt and potentially ruined the lives of those around her. She’s not just a great person, is she? There are some others who also have plenty to be sorry for beyond these two, with Daniel leading the pack. Even someone like Nolan, though, has ventured to the dark side a couple of times.
