ABC’s ‘Castle’ season 7, episode 4 video: Nathan Fillion’s Rick faces some tough critics
Where are we going to see the story go from here on “Castle“? As it turns out, to a heck of a fun place, but also one that could prove to be one of Richard Castle’s hardest challenges to date.
“Child’s Play” is the title for this particular installment, and in order to help further solve a case, Nathan Fillion’s character is going to be going undercover at an elementary school. On paper, it does seem like Rick would be the right guy for the job. We know from “The Good, the Bad, and the Baby” that he is really good with kids, and he successfully raised Alexis to be the sort of kid most parents would want to have (even with that whole Pi fiasco in the past).
However, there’s a difference between dealing with one kid, and then dealing with dozens of them. That’s what he has to take on as “Mr. Castle,” and bad things happen when he lies on some grass, only for it to later leave a questionable impression on his jeans. Watching Castle try to defend himself while countless kids yell “Mr. Castle wet his pants” is pretty much entertainment gold.
Will this episode eventually produce some answers when it comes to the show’s central mystery? At the moment, we’re willing to say that this is doubtful. If the show is going to give us any further information on this storyline, it is probably not going to be until we arrive at a sweeps period.
