‘Agents of SHIELD’ season 2, episode 4 preview: Phil Coulson versus … Melinda May?
If you love surprises, then we expect that you are going to get plenty of them on the next episode of “Agents of SHIELD.” After all, how often is it that you see one prominent member of the organization against another?
“Face My Enemy” is the title for the installment airing next week, and the situation between Phil Coulson (Clark Gregg) and Melinda May (Ming-Na) is probably going to be what rises to the forefront more than anything else. We are curious about Donnie Gill’s present situation (maybe he is really dead; you never know with this show), but that is not something really mentioned in the synopsis below:
“While on a mission to learn more about the secrets of the mysterious writing, Coulson finds himself attacked by the only person he can trust: Agent Melinda May. Meanwhile, the rest of the team is trapped in an explosive situation, and it’s up to Fitz to save them — but is he up to it?”
Ultimately, trust remains a key component to this series both past and present, and that is not going to stop anytime soon. Simmons is off on an assignment, and she may stay there for a little while. If nothing else, you can at least smile about the fact that she is not really in HYDRA, as you may have worried a little earlier in the episode.
Hopefully, we will have some further news when it comes to this episode soon, so be on the lookout!
