‘Hawaii Five-0’ season 5, episode 3 preview: Will Dane Cook ever return?
So far on season 5, “Hawaii Five-0” had delivered all sorts of interesting storylines, but the subplot with Danny is undoubtedly going to be one that generates plenty of attention.
With that, we’re set wondering a big question when it comes to Dane Cook’s Matt: Are we ever going to actually see the guy again? He’s playing a big part in the story right now, but due to the kidnapping, all of it is taking place offscreen. Cook is also not listed as appear in next week’s episode “Kanalu Hope Loa” (“The Last Break”), but you can see the full synopsis of what to expect below:
“Five-0 investigates when three female thieves unknowingly steal something during a tour bus robbery that makes them a serious target. Meanwhile, Danny searches for his brother’s hidden millions in order to exchange it for his life.”
Given the long-term nature of this story, we do feel like Cook has to turn up on the show eventually. Otherwise, why in the world are we spending so much time on this? It would not feel like a necessary use of our time in the end, and we figure that producers had to plan this so that he would show up eventually. For now, patience may just need to be a virtue.
As for the other story we are going to see on the show Friday, it certainly looks like it will be plenty of fun, if nothing else. Let’s just see what unfolds moving forward.
