‘Grey’s Anatomy’ season 11, episode 3 preview: The story for Camilla Luddington’s Jo amps up

The future -Next week’s new episode of “Grey’s Anatomy” is entitled “Got To Be Real,” and if you feel like the Maggie plot has caused there to be less attention on the rest of the cast, don’t worry: The stories will be more evenly spread around this week.

If you are in particular a fan of Jo, you are finally going to see the tension between Alex and her come to a head over the closeness that he has with Meredith, even if the two have no interest in being with each other romantically. That awkward moment during the premiere would have been enough for us to flip out, if we were in the shoes of Camilla Luddington’s character.

The full synopsis below should give you at least a little bit more insight into what is coming up:

“Owen introduces Callie to the Veterans Hospital patients in hopes that she will help them with her robotic limb lab, Jo becomes jealous of Alex and Meredith’s friendship, and Maggie continues to confide in Richard. Meanwhile, Alex and Bailey prepare to go in front of the board.”

We’re happy to see that Owen is having something great going on with his story right now, especially since we imagine that his present state is somewhere still grieving for Cristina being gone. Eventually, we do think that he will get a new romantic storyline, but probably not for a little while.

Instead, the continuance of what is going on with Alex and Jo, coupled with Maggie’s bond with Richard, should be enough to keep you more than invested for now.
