‘Grey’s Anatomy’ season 11, episode 2 preview: Maggie’s story in ‘Puzzle with a Piece Missing’

Who knew that we would be spending so much time early on “Grey’s Anatomy” season 11 focusing on a new character? It may sound strange, but that is exactly what is going on with “Puzzle with a Piece Missing.” This is the second installment of the year, and this one also focuses heavily on Kelly McCreary’s character. We do understand why, given that she was frustrated by the end of the premiere with wanting to tell Meredith the truth … even though she was struggling to do so.

“In this Maggie centric episode, she continues to try to make a positive impression at the hospital but finds herself in extremely unfortunate situations. Meanwhile, Richard continues to hold onto his secret and the doctors work with a dying woman who is being kept alive by her daughter.”

Maggie just seems to have the worst luck ever at the moment. Most of her story in the premiere revolved around her wanting to get close to Meredith and to tell her the truth, but getting repeatedly turned away by the fact that the two characters just don’t seem to be getting along … at all. We imagine this has to be a crazy-frustrating situation, and it’s one that will probably continue for a little while longer unless she finds a way to speak up.

There will be some other news that breaks in this episode, but you’ll have to be patient for that.
