ABC’s ‘Revenge’ season 4 spoilers: ‘Ashes’ scoop on Emily VanCamp, Madeleine Stowe

Just in case you were curious on how long it will take Emily Thorne to find herself in trouble again on “Revenge” season 4, the answer is ultimately pretty simple: Not that long at all.

“Ashes” is the title for the third episode of the season, which is going to air come Sunday, October 12. Based on the synopsis below, it sounds very much already like we are going to see Victoria Grayson (Madeleine Stowe) out of the asylum, and back once again on the path to destroy Emily Thorne (Emily VanCamp). In turn, this could throw Emily into a more perilous position than she has been in since the end of last season:

“Emily’s life is on the line as Victoria orchestrates a family reunion with deadly potential, regardless of who gets caught in the crossfire.”

We’re fine with Emily being in a little bit of danger, mostly because we find the prospect of that to be exciting. This show has more potential when everyone has a constant reason to be afraid, and even away Victoria, there is a reason for Emily to shake in her boots to a certain degree: David Clarke. We know that he is alive, and sooner or later, we are going to find out what his new agenda is. Given what we did to Conrad Grayson, there may be a reason to be afraid.
