‘The Good Wife’ season 6, episode 2 preview: Taye Diggs arrives; Diane’s move

The Good WifeSunday night’s episode of “The Good Wife” was stuffed full of content, but what took center stage for the most part was seeing Cary behind bars while Alicia tried to collect the bail money, and in turn eventually clear his name. This is not going to be an easy task, and it probably hurts her that there is quite a bit of other stuff on her plate at the same time. We haven’t even discussed much of the State’s Attorney story here, which is still up in the air.

So going into next week’s episode, her challenge is to try to uphold the reputation of her firm, while at the same time trying to do what she can to see the transition by Diane through. Taye Diggs will also guest-star in here, and his character may actually be one of the partners that she wants to bring over with her.

If you want to get some further news in terms of what to expect, just take a look at the attached synopsis:

“Alicia scrambles to hold onto Florrick/Agos’ biggest client as the firm continues to struggle with an internal legal crisis. Meanwhile, Diane continues to plot her move from Lockhart/Gardner and looks for partners to bring with her to the new firm.”

Cary better hope for a miracle at some point during this hour, since he ended this one still waiting for another chance. While Alicia finally got the funds together to get him out, a hearing to establish the source of the bail money was enough to ruin his chances at being free anytime soon.
