‘The Bachelor’ spoilers: When will Chris Soules start filming his season?

Even though we are still sifting through the aftermath of the mess that was “Bachelor in Paradise,” ABC is not going to wait very long at all when it comes to getting production on the next “Bachelor” underway.

So what do we know for now? Chris Soules is obviously the lead, and based on the patterns of friends and family on Twitter, production is going to be starting very soon. Heck, you could theoretically see Chris in the audience of “Dancing with the Stars” soon, doing a little bit of promotion for what could be a crazy season. Within the next couple of weeks, we anticipate the arrival of the ladies at the mansion, and for some of the roses to be handed out.

As for how many details will be dished out, we are still waiting to see what the producers decide to do. There have been some seasons where they have hit the ground running to make it clear that they are filming, and then others where there is radio silence. Our feeling right now is this: It’s not like they are tweeting big spoilers, and since that stuff tends to get leaked anyway, you might as well engage the audience. Our major complain with spoilers is just that those who have them feel the need to shout them from the rooftops and ruin the element of surprise for everyone. Remember the era where there were actually some secrets going into the finale?

Anyhow, filming for these shows tend to wrap up before Thanksgiving, that way Chris and his new lucky lady (if he does find someone on the show) can sit down for a turkey dinner. Of course, they’ll have to do so under the tradition veil of secrecy.
