‘Finding Carter’ finale spoilers: Everything falls apart (video)
We don’t really feel like the title is an overstatement at all when it comes to “Finding Carter,” and for one simple reason: This is a show really not afraid to explore dark places, and they are really about to do that.
Next week’s season 1 finale is entitled “One Hour Photo,” and this episode will place Carter in a confrontational position, and also a very dangerous one in many ways. What is the life that you have when all of it is a lie? This has been a theme throughout the first season, and we definitely expect that to continue.
As for some further details about what you can expect, especially from some of the supporting characters, take a look at the synopsis below:
“Carter uncovers dark secrets in the Season 1 finale. Meanwhile, Max and Taylor’s relationship reaches its breaking point.”
Now, we are about to do something that we did not imagine we would be doing a few years ago: Praising MTV for their scripted show department. You can still say what you will about them not airing music videos, but take away most of their subpar unscripted programming if you want more videos. “Teen Wolf” has improved greatly over the years, “Awkward” was funny from the start, and they finally found a perfect companion for it in “Faking It” that takes on controversy in a very funny and real way.
Now, you have this show, which has never been afraid to venture to some pretty dark places for the sake of telling a story. The series has also been renewed for a while now, so there is no reason to worry too extensively about the future.

Here are my thoughts – in the episode where David spoke to Lori on the phone, there was a familiarity in how they spoke. It seemed like once upon a time they knew each other. So I think that Lori was either an egg donor, or a surrogate mother to the twins. That’ll be the big twist plot in the end.
