‘Game of Thrones’ season 5 spoilers: Controversial scene reportedly ‘banned’ from filming

Game of Thrones -Game of Thrones” has never been any stranger to controversy over the past few years, though what we are seeing at the moment has to be described as a new one.

According to a new report from TMZ, the local film council in Dubrovnik, Croatia has been a controversial scene from being filmed that would feature a main character from the show basically walking through the streets of King’s Landing in the buff, and this comes after an order from the local Church of St. Nicholas. It is no surprise to us that a religious institution would object to something like this; as for who the character is, we’ll leave it to you to speculate or find out, given that we don’t want to be one to report spoilers at the moment.

Will there be a workaround to this story at some point in the future? We certainly believe so, if for no other reason than the fact that this is the sort of thing that is essential to the story, and the show cannot just have the season air without it. They will probably just figure out a way to include it on the show without using the actual location. These are some of the best, smartest people in the business, and they know all about finding alternative ways to make things happen.

The new season of “Game of Thrones” premieres on HBO in the spring of 2015, and we certainly imagine that we will have some more revealing news coming out in the future.
