‘Girls’ season 4: Is production over? Lena Dunham explains

Girls -What is going on in the world of “Girls“? Well, we come bearing some good news: Production on the 12 episodes for the fourth season are officially wrapped up … at least from the filming side of things.

This news was confirmed by the series’ own star in Lena Dunham, who made the announcement while on the red carpet for the Primetime Emmy Awards on Monday. This was one of the reasons why she went in and made such a drastic change to her hair, since she no longer had to worry about continuity for the show.

There was also another funny moment during her E! interview, where she related a story about having being accosted previously by the paparazzi over whether or not her hair was actually real, or if she was just wandering around with a fake blonde bob for some reason.

For the time being “Girls” is still being kept under a heavy lock and key for the fourth season, but we do know that at least a certain part of the tale is going to revolve heavily around Hanna attending a school in Iowa for writers. This will be a challenge for her, given that she is away from almost anyone and everyone she knows and loves. Everyone else will still be around, though, in some shape or form. This does include Adam Driver and his character of Adam, even though we are well aware of just how busy he is going to be thanks to “Star Wars.”
