‘Glee’ season 6: Naya Rivera recording for new season!

For those of you who love “Glee,” and also love Naya Rivera in particular, we have some very good news for you right now: She is back in the recording studio for the show!

In a post on Twitter over the weekend, the actress had the following to say about getting back in the studio, and doing some more of what she loves to do:

“Just got my first batch of songs to pre-record next week for the new season of @GLEEonFOX! You’re going to love them!”

The great news about this is that Rivera is clearly going to be a part of at least the early portion of the season, if she is already working on some music now. The big news earlier this summer is that she was downgraded to recurring status on the final season, which means that you will not be seeing her in every episode. This apparently does not take away from the number of actual musical numbers she is going to do on the show. She is very much involved, and that bodes well for everyone else hoping for at least one last moment in the sun with the series.

The final season of “Glee” will begin filming for Fox next month, and while there is no official premiere date yet for the show, you should expect to see it back at some point in 2015. As for what night, that depends on whatever ratings Fox is getting at the time for some of their other programming.
