‘Bachelor in Paradise’ spoilers: The source of the AshLee Frazier, Graham Bunn conflict

If you watched the “next on…” preview that aired after Monday night’s “Bachelor in Paradise,” you know already that there are many arguments coming up, and Graham Bunn and AshLee Frazier could be front and center for some of them. At one point, it seemed almost like these two could be a power couple, but there continued to be reasons to doubt them … and this time, it comes with AshLee saying some potentially not-so-great things about one of the other women in paradise.

Since the ABC synopsis is going to explain this argument in a much better way than we ever could, let’s just get right to that:

“Back at the house, things start to heat up when the outspoken AshLee gets caught gossiping about Clare, leading to an epic confrontation. The ladies show an ugly side that leaves their suitors, Graham and Zack, with some serious concerns heading into the rose ceremony. The contestants gather at the scenic Casa Palapa where six women must each hand out a rose, meaning two men will be exiting paradise. As the ladies begin to hand out their roses, the memory of the confrontation is still lingering and to everyone’s surprise, one of the bachelors panics and runs out of the rose ceremony just as his name is being called. His suitor and the rest of the contestants are left in shock.”

What is the real problem here? We imagine it ties somewhat to the fact that there really isn’t any reason for AshLee to gossip about Clare. They are not competing for the same man, and they also don’t have the history from being on the same season of the show together. It’s ultimately pretty senseless, and that may be at least one part of the problem.

Maybe it is Graham who runs away here, or Zack doesn’t want to be a part of this fighting anymore. (If that’s the case, it would be the biggest moment Zack’s ever had on the entire franchise.)
