‘Girl Meets World’ spoilers: Episode 8 has a title, air date

When is “Girl Meets World” returning to the air? We know that this is a question many people are wondering, and we are here now with the gift of answers!

The eighth episode of the show, entitled “Girl Meets Smackle,” will air on Friday, September 12. Many of you may have guessed previously that this is when the half-hour was going to come on the air based on some online scuttlebutt, but we wanted to wait until there was a little more news before saying anything here. This will begin a run of at least a few new episodes in a row.

It is the way of the Disney Channel, in addition to many other networks catering to young viewers, to space out their seasons a little bit. In the case of this show, they really need to do this thanks to the fact that there are some special episodes that they plan on airing over the course of the months ahead. Some episodes are necessary to come on the air at a particular point in time.

One thing that we are happy with is the fact that the show seemed to end on a relatively high note the last time that it aired, and hopefully, that is some momentum that will carry over to the rest of the season. The show has learned to balance some of that humor and heart a little bit better, and this is what so many people in particular enjoyed about the original “Boy Meets World” series in the first place. We’ll just have to wait and see where things go from here.
