‘American Horror Story: Freak Show’ spoilers: Premiere date, first teaser revealed
When does “American Horror Story: Freak Show” begin? We know that many have wanted to know the answer to this question, and we now have something official to tell you: Wednesday, October 8 at 10:00 p.m. Eastern time.
As far as premiere dates go, this is probably one you sensed coming from a mile away. This show tends to launch around this point in October, that way it can build a little bit of momentum before their annual Halloween episode. However, it doesn’t like to launch at around the same frame of time as the rest of the fall TV schedule.
FX also released today the official logline for the new season, which at least gives you some better insight into what happens to the, and whether or not they are really the villains of this season at all:
“American Horror Story: Freak Show begins its tale in the quiet, sleepy hamlet of Jupiter, Florida. The year is 1952. A troupe of curiosities has just arrived to town, coinciding with the strange emergence of a dark entity that savagely threatens the lives of townsfolk and freaks alike. This is the story of the performers and their desperate journey of survival amidst the dying world of the American carny experience.”
The first official teaser (there was a really excellent fake one unveiled earlier this summer) is basically an invitation to the show, and that’s about it. Is this a talon holding the ticket? Maybe. It’s either that or some really unusual creature deciding to give us the finger rather than doing anything else.
We’ll have some further news and insight on this soon, so stay tuned.
