‘The Fosters’ season 2, episode 10 review: It all falls apart for Callie, Sophie
“The Fosters” season 2 ended its summer season on Monday night, but not exactly in a way that will leave everyone smiling. As a matter of fact, this simply set the stage for even more pain and heartache.
The biggest thing of note here is that all of those plans for Callie’s adoption? Well, they are almost completely torn away thanks to what happened to Sophia. She ripped up those abandonment papers, and to make matters worse for her, Robert Quinn is not interested in signing them a second time. He wants to be there for her, but unfortunately, Callie is not quite so keen on this now. She doesn’t want to live with him, and all of this pain, anger, and resentment over her whole life ultimately led her back to Brandon again.
Thanks to all of the high drama surrounding the Callie story, it’s pretty easy in the end to forget about everything else. This includes what happened with Lena at her job, Mariana and Jesus have a very heated confrontation with their birth mother, and an assortment of other important stories. This was one of the craziest episode of the entire series, and also one that has us in a weird place moving into the second half of the season. In the event that the show does not go beyond season 2, we really want to see most of the characters in a happy place … or at least a place where they can start to smile again. Grade: B.

okay so what the hell the fosters is really ending with this episode like really i hate the fact the Callie said that “that was her dad” i knew Sophia was gonna do all she could to take her sister away from the fosters so cutting her off wouldn’t be the worst of all ideas just saying. Mike and the twins mom i think end up together having felt like they lost their children to someone else, but Callie and Brandon’s kiss at the end omg omg omg omg!!!!!!!!!!! i love them together they are amazing i think once again but still mad that they ended the way they did :(

Its not the end of the season just summer finale gonna continue in winter But I hated the fact that they kissed. Its just I feel like this is gonna be a bad love story between callie and Brandon SIMPLY Because of Judge and the rest of the family so I hope the relationship gets canceled again and Jude and Connor story gets expanded

God! I hated that kiss. I literally minimised the window and let it play in the background… It was so annoying. I hope it ends there. I thought they were gonna get nabbed by brandon’s new “girlfriend”. I don’t blame sophie for what she did. But Robert’s decision wasn’t manly. He should’ve respected her feelings and just flow with it, I mean, that’s the least he could’ve done after everything.

I hate that they kissed at the end. I was literally going “No! No! No!” at that moment. I think it would have been better if they just had that moment and left it up in the air.
Also it seemed like they might do a suicidal type storyline with Sophia and while I love the character I hope they don’t go down that road. However the girl obviously has something going on so they do need to into that.
And of course the Jude and Connor storyline is my favorite once again! I hope Lena gets her job back but I really do like how she stood up!

I hope they expand the Jude and Connor story. It could be something that gay boys in particular could look at. So many shows the boys are always chick magnets but having two boys in love from an early age would be something that has never been done before. There are shows like Degrassie that have gay characters but seldom where they have a relationship in the same way that the straight kids do.

I totally agree, I think that there is something going on with Sophia and it looks like they are going to go down the suicidal route (which I hope they don’t) I hated that Brandon and Callie kissed my reaction to that moment was the sane as yours.

I want Callie and Brandon to be together. I think they are good together, but then again all the Fosters have been good for Callie. But I still want them together.
