‘Longmire’ season 4: Katee Sackhoff enters new social-media sphere

It’s true that right now, we are stuck within the long, frustrating wait for “Longmire” news. While there have been positive signs about a season 4 renewal, the reality is that there always is around this time. Fans and reporters like want to see their favorites return, and they will therefore look for almost every bit of hopeful news where they can.

So while we wait, we’ll at least do our best to update you on some of what the cast members are up to, and today, this includes Katee Sackhoff! Katee has officially joined Instagram, and you can follow her account just by heading here. She has been busy this week taking part in LifeRide, an annual event raising money for amfAR (American Foundation for AIDS Research), and the timing of her joining the photo-sharing site coincides perfectly with that.

For the most part, the “Longmire” cast has become a pretty social-media-savvy bunch, save for Robert Taylor who tends to steer clear. What we have learned from this is that all of the cast are currently off working on a variety of other projects. Bailey Chase (Branch) has been working on a movie, while Lou Diamond Phillips (Henry) has been working on a theater production.

If a “Longmire” season 4 is eventually ordered, filming for it will not begin for many months in New Mexico. After all, the show wouldn’t be back until around Memorial Day 2015 at the earliest unless A&E decided randomly to change something up.
