‘Bones’ season 10 spoilers: What’s next for Hodgins, Angela?

While Booth and Brennan certainly get the majority of the airtime when it comes to “Bones,” they are definitely not the only couple we have an investment in. We want to see what is next for Hodgins and Angela!

One of the biggest struggles for the couple ultimately looks like it is going to be balancing work and their personal lives, which is a road that we’ve been down for many of these people before. It’s still interestingly ultimately, mostly because of what these characters have gone through. Just look at what executive producer Stephen Nathan had to say to TVLine:

“Life won’t be easy for them … Angela’s still pulled in two directions — working [at the Jeffersonian] and being with Hodgins. I think there’s a sense for all the characters that their lives might have other demands for them. People are going to be changing and wanting different things — as would be the case with any group of people you’ve known for 10 years.”

Regardless of if we’re talking about Hodgins / Angela or whatever else is going on with Sweets, what is interesting is that with Booth and Brennan now in such a stable position romantically, the impetus could be on them to bring some of the drama, romance, and intrigue. The show has the same challenge it always does of having a carrot to dangle in front of you, and for the time being this could be one of them.
