ABC’s ‘Resurrection’ season 2 spoilers: Michelle Fairley on playing Margaret Langston

Resurrection -ABC and “Resurrection” seem to both be very much aware of their current casting coup when it comes to Michelle Fairley. The “Game of Thrones” alum is coming over after some roles on “24: Live Another Day” and “Suits,” and she will be playing a complicated character who goes by the name of Margaret Langston.

What makes Margaret stand out? She is the mother of Henry and Fred, yet she is also younger than the two of them due to the age at which she died. Therefore, the entire family tree is about to become even more twisted. There are also some other elements of her past that may be hidden at first from the sons.

ABC put out a video featuring Fairley talking about the new casting (which you can see below), and she had the following to say:

“I’m incredibly honored and excited to be playing Margaret Langston … I watched season 1 and was totally blown away by the strength of the writing. It’s not afraid to go into areas that other shows wouldn’t dare [to touch].”

Ultimately, what we are hoping to see the most from this character is just that she adds some more complications to Arcadia, and at least answers a few of the show’s most important questions, such as why there are still dead bodies of the people who passed, and also why these people eat excessively and get very little to no sleep at night. Arcadia is overrun with them at this point, and with the military now present, there is little containing it.
