‘The Big Bang Theory’ season 8: Jim Parsons, Kaley Cuoco, Johnny Galecki re-sign

Here it is -Great news for those who just want to see “The Big Bang Theory” starting production sooner rather than later: The trio of stars on the show have all signed new contracts now.

According to Deadline, Jim Parsons, Kaley Cuoco, and Johnny Galecki have each inked deals that will give them around $1 million an episode. The deals are for three seasons each, and when you factor in bonuses, backend, and much more, they could each conceivably make as much as $90 or even $100 million by the time that these deals are finally wrapped.

All three actors are getting a larger stake now in the backend, and also to go along with it will receive considerations with production deals and much more. Basically, Warner Bros. TV is interested in taking care of both the stars and themselves for a long time. Keeping the trio locked in with them for now and the future is a very smart move.

At the moment, though, there is still another hurdle to get through before the start of production Wednesday: Signing Kunal Nayyar and Simon Helberg. Their deals are expected to close by tomorrow at the latest. Their particular demands are not that clear, but we know that they were looking to substantially raise their salaries to the point they were closer to the main stars. After all, the two appear in almost the same number of scenes, and have probably been underpaid (at least by sitcom standards) the past couple of years.

Are you excited to see that the deal is done for at least some of the cast right now? We’ll have updates later, but of course feel free to share your thoughts now in the comments. You can also click here in the event that you want some other news on all we cover now via our official newsletter.
