‘Big Brother 16’ live feed spoilers: The tao of Zach
We’re not sure that the world of “Big Brother” has seen anyone like Zach Rance on the show in a long time, and we so very grateful that we do now. This is a guy who is completely insane, and is keeping the live feeds interesting at a time when they would otherwise be boring.
The first thing we love about Zach? How he seemingly confirms every rumor to be true. For a while, he tried to play along with the idea of being Amanda Zuckerman’s cousin (which the show made it look a little more definitive than it was). Hilarious stuff. This morning, he tried to claim that he was the saboteur when Cody and Frankie asked him about it. Here’s a note to all future houseguests: The saboteur was a stupid twist. They are not bringing that one back under any circumstances.
The second thing we love about Zach? He has no regard for other people whatsoever. He advertises openly that he is going to be a huge tool to everyone, and oftentimes he is. He claims that he is helping to ensure that Cody and Frankie get to the end, since he will always be a bigger target than them. We’re not so sure. If Zach gets far enough, he could be the ultimate jury bait: A non-threatening guy who jurors claim to not long.
Finally, we turn to the third thing: He’s kind of an idiot, but also an endearing idiot. First, he thought that Amsterdam was a country; now, he thinks that Amsterdam is in Germany, and is more excited about winning that trip there from the Power of Veto. This is a recent college graduate, folks. He probably went to one too many parties and not enough actual class.
This concludes are opus on Zach for the morning, with the house relatively quiet. The plan is still to evict Brittany, but covertly so that she does not get a chance to campaign hard about it.
