‘Sleepy Hollow’ season 2 spoilers: See new photos of Tom Mison, Nicole Beharie, cast

What a difference a couple of days can make! When we saw the group promotional photo for “Sleepy Hollow” season 2, we weren’t quite a fan of it. It felt very much like a carbon-copy of what we saw the first time around.

If you haven’t caught that just yet, you can take a look at here. Meanwhile, let’s dive into some of these individual photos that Fox released today for the new season. All of them are a nice quality, and show the cast members standing in front of what may be the moodiest bridge in existence. You have Tom Mison (Ichabod Crane) still sporting what is his sort-of-colonial look, while Katia Winter (Katrina) is wearing that black dress that she has probably grown very tired of over the past year or so. The other outfits are all ultimately pretty par for the course.

The one thing that we should remind you of in looking at all of these images is that clearly, these are not meant to be photos taken in the moment. They are more snapshots designed to promote the show. Abbie is still locked away in purgatory when the season begins, while Captain Irving is no longer really a captain thanks to his prison sentence. Ichabod and his wife are going to have to use the tools at their disposal to find a way to reunite the gang against the forces of evil … which very likely include Ichabod’s own son Jeremy Crane (John Noble, who still looks very scholarly).

The show returns on Monday, September 22, and we’re not exaggerating at all when we say that it really cannot come soon enough. It was one of the highlights of the past year, and we’ve been itching to find out the next move.
