‘Major Crimes’ season 3, episode 7 preview: First look at Jon Tenney’s return
Next week’s new episode of “Major Crimes” is going to be very much a team effort. As a matter of fact, it may be such a departure that it could one day be a show of its own.
While “Two Options” was not necessarily designed to be a backdoor pilot for a show all about the Special Operations Bureau, the truth here is that this is still something that could at the end of the day happen depending on how things pan out and what the reviews are for this happen. You certainly have a big enough guest cast in here, including the return of Jon Tenney and also Laurie Holden following her time on “The Walking Dead.” Want to know more? Then check out the synopsis below:
“When SWAT officers working Crime Suppression discover an elderly couple gunned down in their own home, Major Crimes must team up with the LAPD’s Special Operations Bureau to hunt down a killer stalking the city of Los Angeles, and taking hostages along the way. Jon Tenney, Laurie Holden, Lindsay Price, Malcom-Jamal Warner, Bill Brochtrup, Brock Harris and Hampton Fluker guest star.”
If nothing else, this at least seems to be an interesting idea for an episode that also has a pretty great guest cast to go along with it. For Warner, we ironically still think of him for “Community” even though we know he has done so many other things in addition to this.
If you are still wishing that there were more “Major Crimes” episodes ahead that are par for the course, we’re sure that some more of those will come in the future.
