‘The Walking Dead’ season 5 spoilers: First photo of Norman Reedus’ Daryl
There are tough times ahead for Daryl Dixon on “The Walking Dead” season 5, and we’ve got now the first little bit of photographic proof of that very thing.
In the photo below via Entertainment Weekly, you can see Norman Reedus’ character essentially bound and gagged, which we can only assume means that something terrible is coming up for him soon. Who is responsible for this said gagging? That shouldn’t be that hard to figure out. Unless Daryl somehow manages to miraculously escape Terminus only to get captured by another group who wants to torment him, it’s like the folks at the supposed “save haven” that are doing it to him. The bigger question is the reason why. If they were cannibals, why waste their time on something like this, when it would be so much easier for them to just shoot him and eat him? It suggests that these people have a far more complex plan than what we have seen or suggested so far.
For those wondering when we’ll get answers, it’s still a ways out. Season 5 production is heavily underway right now in Atlanta, and the show will most-likely not premiere until the middle of October (as always). The episode count of sixteen as the same, and the show loves this little sweet spot right around Halloween. If everything that you are doing right now is working without a problem, then why in the world would you change it? We’re fine with the wait so long as the show remains at the same holy-bleep quality that we had the second half of last season.
