‘Agents of SHIELD’ season 2: Comic-Con details for show
“Agents of SHIELD” is a show that is basically built for conventions like Comic-Con. It has the comic-book cred, the Whedon brothers involved, and also a story that occasionally includes big characters from Marvel lore.
This year marks the first trip to San Diego for the cast where the American public has actually seen a substantial amount of the show beforehand, so they have a better idea of what to expect. Now, the question is who they should expect for this panel … and it includes everyone from executive producers Jed Whedon, Maurissa Tancharoen, and Jeffrey Bell along with cast members Clark Gregg, Ming-Na, Brett Dalton, Chloe Bennet, Iain de Caestecker, and Elizabeth Henstridge. That’s a pretty nice lineup, no? This panel will take place on Friday, July 25 at 3:00 p.m. Pacific time in Ballroom 20, which is the second-most-prestigious room to be in outside of the enormous Hall H.
This isn’t all for this panel, which is technically called the Marvel Television Presents panel moderated by Jeph Loeb. After all, it also is going to feature some producers from “Marvel’s Agent Carter,” and that also includes series star Hayley Atwell. Given that this show is going to bridge the fall and spring portions of the “Agents of SHIELD” season, isn’t it only appropriate that it also be a part of the panel? It’s a nice way to bring some attention to the show straight out the gate, and hopefully it has a little bit of a smoother start than “Agents of SHIELD” did. Had the quality of that show been in the fall what it was in the spring, it’d still be a smash hit.
