‘Supernatural’ season 10: Jared Padalecki, Misha Collins, and production notes

Check it out -Do you love “Supernatural“? Then Tuesday was probably a great day for you. Production is underway in Vancouver on what will hopefully be a crazy collection of episodes. The only thing that’s a bummer is that it’s still just under three months until the show returns on October 7.

What at least cheered us up about this wait is getting the first Twitter updates on the season yesterday via Jared Padalecki; it may not be too informative, but it is at least a reminder that good work is being done, and more is coming up soon:

Well, home safe and sound. Which means,Day 1 of Season 10 of Supernatural. Officially completed.

What we can take from this is just how crazy-late the cast was working last night, which was until around 9:30 p.m. Pacific time. These are long days on the set, and there occasionally ones that push the cast into working late at night.

On a different note … we now know that you’ll be waiting a little while longer to see Misha Collins’ AMA on Reddit. Thanks to some schedule changes on the show’s set, he was forced to reschedule it for Monday at 2:30.  In his own tweet announcing the change, Misha made a joke about the “director” for the episode being all over the place … and that director happens to be Jensen Ackles. After a season off, Jensen has stepped back into the chair to take on one of the early hours this season.

What’s also important about this message from Misha is simple: He’ll be involved in the early going this season! Just because you are a regular does not mean you appear in every episode.
