‘Once Upon a Time’ season 4 spoilers: Who are ‘Frozen’s’ Anna and Kristoff?
For those of you who spent all that time making dream cast lists for “Once Upon a Time” season 4 when it comes to possible “Frozen” castings, you are probably going to be pretty bummed about your time management. ABC has confirmed today some of the names that will be signing onto the show moving forward, and only one of them is someone you may have heard of.
Let’s start here with Anna, given that she will most likely appear in more episodes. According to TVLine, Elizabeth Lail has managed to land the part. There is not very much at all known about Lail, given that her resume is limited mostly to short films. But remember here that Rose McIver was not extremely well-known when she was cast as Tinker Bell, either, and neither was Robbie Kay as Peter Pan. You can look at the show casting an unknown for this part in three separate ways
- She just so happened to be the best person who came in for the part.
- ABC is trying to trim their costs in some ways, and not hiring big names is a way to do that.
- The network wants to limit themselves to only one big name a half-season, and they are hiring someone more popular for Elsa. That role is the largest of the three, and has not been announced yet.
Meanwhile, Scott Michael Foster of “Greek” has officially landed the role of Kristoff, who “Frozen” fans known as the master of ice collecting who Anna meets while looking for her sister. He is a loyal, street-smart guy with a trusty animal companion. We love this casting; the physical resemblance is there, and the personality should mesh well.
