‘Beauty and the Beast’ season 2 finale spoilers: Vincent’s (shirtless?) situation

We have your first look today at the “Beauty and the Beast” finale today … and we have a feeling quite a few people out there are going to like it.

The CW posted this photo today, and it is of a somewhat-shirtless Vincent (Jay Ryan) having a rather intense conversation with Cat (Kristin Kreuk) while standing at the breakfast table. Can’t these two enjoy their orange juice in peace? There are not too many details confirmed right now about the episode, other than at least two things: Catherine is going to have to make a very difficult choice when it comes to her future, and Gabe is still going to be around.

We know that Gabe isn’t in the picture, but to us, he is one of the biggest question marks in the episode. We have a hard time imagining where his story can really go from here. He’s not the sort of guy who can feasibly be redeemed again, mostly because he has already had this sort of opportunity once before. Once you start to trust this guy yet again to redeem himself, it’s suddenly your fault for being naive more so than it is his fault for being evil. Also, Sendhil Ramamurthy may have some other opportunities out there in the event that he does end up leaving the show. After all, there is that “Heroes: Reborn” series out there, and we’d love to see him make a return to that if it is at all possible.*

As for Cat and Vincent, they have to be endgame, right? We certainly do not see one of them ever leaving the world of the show, and the only real question here is whether or not they will be together when the season ends.
