‘Girls’ season 4 spoilers: ‘American Horror Story’s’ Zachary Quinto to guest-star
While the jury is still out about whether or not Zachary Quinto will be coming back to “American Horror Story,” we do at least have some other good news to report: He is set to make an appearance on “Girls” moving forward.
HBO has confirmed that Quinto, who you may also know from either “Star Trek” or “Heroes,” has been confirmed as a guest star after pictures surfaced around the web of him filming. According to TVLine, this will only be a one-episode job, so do not expect a whole lot of Quinto from the end of his episode on. While it may not be similar when it comes to content, it’ll at least be similar in structure to the part that Patrick Wilson took on the show back in season 2.
We understand the logic behind getting Quinto to have a stint on the show, given that he spends much of his time these days in New York and like fellow actor Andrew Rannells, has an extensive history performing on Broadway.
In the end, this should be a fun stint so long as “Girls” continues to build on some of the elements that they put into motion during the third season of the show. This entire season almost seemed to be building to where we are now, and at least this will be the excuse that we give it since we really found it lacking for the most part.
There is no firm premiere date yet for the new season, but you can most likely expect the show to surface again at some point early next year.
