‘Beauty and the Beast’ season 2, episode 18 preview: What to expect from ‘Cat & Mouse’

Catch Me -We’re back with another spotlight on “Beauty and the Beast” as we get closer to Monday night’s episode “Cat & Mouse,” and if there is one thing we can definitively say about this one, it is this: It is a thrill ride. The show really set up for it well by having Cat be captured, and the show wastes no time at all explaining this and then diving into the next part of the mythology.

Some of the episodes of the show air early in other parts of the world, but since we never want to ruin anything, what we’ve come up with here are a list of a few assorted things to expect. We’ll have these for most episodes the rest of the season, in addition of course to our reviews and previews that we post at the time of the episode actually airing.

1. After having their relationship revealed on this past episode, you better get ready for more drama courtesy of the Tess / JT relationship. Given where their respective priorities are, there is quite a bit of tension that lies here.

2. At least one part of this episode may remind you of the movie “The Interpreter.”

3. Compared to the massive cliffhanger at the end of “Beast Is the New Black,” this ending may not feel nearly as crazy.

4. Part of the way in which this episode is presented visually may also remind you of “Person of Interest.”

5. You will start to know where Gabe’s loyalties truly lie.

Ultimately, this one is going to be fun, and we imagine it being labeled as a favorite for many by the end of the season.
