‘Falling Skies’ season 4 spoilers: Someone’s got a secret…

June is a very deceptive month for many TV fans. Given that this is officially the start of summer, you would want to believe that the majority of the summer series you want would start up right away.

Unfortunately, that is not really the case, and you are stuck waiting for “Falling Skies” and some other good ones for a while. This is why we’re offering up teases on a new episode of the show every weekend until the show ultimately premieres.

Last week, we gave you details for the June 22 premiere entitled “Ghost in the Machine,” and we’re going beyond that this time around for a story simply entitled “The Eye.” Sound ominous? It does to us! The synopsis for this June 29 installment suggests that Lexi is going to continue to shock, as if becoming an adult in a tiny amount of time (which will be the case this season) was something that was not insane enough:

“The Espheni reveal their new plan to Tom, and he is faced with an impossible decision. Meanwhile, Weaver and Pope investigate a way out of the Espheni prison, while Matt struggles to hide his true allegiance from the “Team Leaders” at the Espheni Youth Camp. Elsewhere, Anne leads an exhausting search for her daughter Lexi, while Ben’s concerns about Lexi’s increasing powers uncovers a devastating secret she’s been keeping.”

As of right now, we feel mostly excited for the new season because of the variety of species and alien races that are going to be a part of it. This feels like something that goes back to our old sci-fi roots, whereas the first few seasons felt a little too much like almost any other human disaster story. Now we are getting closer to “Star Wars,” “Mass Effect,” or any of our other favorite sci-fi products.
