‘Arrow’ season 3 spoilers: John Barrowman on future Malcolm Merlyn story

John Barrowman’s “Arrow” character of Malcolm Merlyn is a man of great mystery, so it really should not be a surprise that John himself is hesitant to share many details regarding what will come ahead for the character. He is now a series regular, and with that you can probably at least assume first and foremost that you’re going to be seeing quite a bit of Merlyn moving forward.

While some actors tend to be kept in the dark about their future storylines, that doesn’t seem to be the case here! Barrowman told Zap2It in a new interview that he actually has some information regarding the future … not that he is going to tell you or anything:

“Oh yeah, I know lots. But if I told you, I’d have to send somebody out there to kill you … I know some of what’s going to happen. And for ‘Arrow’ fans, it’s going to be an amazing Season 3.” 

Barrowman is going to be on TV this weekend as a part of the ABC series “Sing Your Face Off,” but will return to Starling City this fall alongside Stephen Amell and the rest of the cast. We’re excited to see what comes out of his new relationship with Thea, given that there is the potential now to do such a variety of exciting things. She is clearly on his side now, so does he turn her evil? Given that he is a man with layers, we imagine that the end result here will be much more complicated than that.
