‘Supernatural’ season 9 finale spoilers: Misha Collins on finale, Castiel’s anguish
Since the past several days have revolved by and large around various teases from Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki about the “Supernatural” season 9 finale, isn’t it time for Misha Collins to share some of his own thoughts?
First of all, the many behind Castiel jokingly reminisced about some of the hard times that his character has been through in a new interview with TV Fanatic:
“It really seems abusive what they put Castiel through on the show. Can’t he have a nice time without being in the process of dying?”
Also, Misha did his best to give a vague sort of tease about the finale and its connection to the story next season … which looks more and more to be a major turn for the show in terms of direction:
“The cliffhanger at the end of season 9 is great and it really sets up some rich stuff [for next season].”
Most of season 10 in terms of specifics is still being figured out, and it will probably be in this sort of stasis for some time, given that the writers are not going to be returning to work for several weeks now. They get a break, and then weeks after the start of that process the actors will all come back and start some of their own work on the story. There are overall some great things coming up to be excited about, and we just have to wait and see what those are going to be.
