‘Bones’ season 9, episode 24 (finale) spoilers: David Boreanaz, Emily Deschanel, and questions
Next week, “Bones” season 9 is going to be wrapping up its story for the time being, and there are many questions that come along with that. Will we have an exciting end, a cliffhanger, or something else entirely? Right now, much of that is a mystery. We’ve felt that the Ghost Killer story may not be completely over, but we have no real evidence to support that.
Instead, the biggest thing to expect from “The Recluse in the Recliner” is a particularly notable villain, a conspiracy, and questions about Booth’s future. David Boreanaz has an added role in directing this hour, and you can see some more details about what to expect courtesy of the synopsis below:
“In the season finale of BONES, the Jeffersonian team investigates the death of Wesley Foster, a conspiracy blog writer who had arranged to meet up with Booth to discuss a previous case before his untimely death. Realizing that whoever killed Foster did not want him talking to Booth, the team has to try to figure out who is behind the death and how the previous case is relevant. As Booth and the Jeffersonian team dig deeper into the burgeoning conspiracy surrounding the man’s death, it’s evident Booth may be in over his head, and his future with the FBI is put in question.”
Let’s hope for something that above all else, really sets the stage for a thrilling season 10. We really need some sort of larger villain now to really intimidate the Jeffersonian crew. Booth and Brennan are so skilled at this point, the average case doesn’t intimidate them.
Do you know what does, though? The thought of Booth dying via gunfire. That is what will be at the center of the big episode next week.

If they kill of the Booth character I will not be interested in Bones anymore. The relationship between Bones and Booth is what makes the show. I love the other actors but the whole show really is centered around their chemistry. Plus I would be disappointed in the actor that plays Booth for letting down his fellow actors, fans and the network
