‘Grey’s Anatomy’ season 10, episode 24 (finale) spoilers: The start of Sandra Oh’s goodbye

Thursday night’s “Grey’s Anatomy” finale is definitely going to be emotional, but it also has the potential to be something that will still fell perfect for the Cristina character that is not just dipped in a layer of sappiness.

For one such example of what we are talking about here, check out the sneak peek video below. In it, Sandra Oh’s character has a lighthearted conversation with Owen about being late, and how they can have a goodbye later. She doesn’t seem too emotional, but is the typical sometimes-rattled Cristina that we have seen over time. However, she is also someone who understands the weight of the decisions and life choices that are ahead for her. She does not want to make a terrible impression on everyone who Zurich, where her new job is located. Thanks to that, she needs to make sure that she is prepared.

In case you are still demanding that there is something emotional that turns up in this episode at some point, have no fear: Those moments are coming. The show just has to be careful with what they are willing to put out there right now, mostly because they do not want to give away anything too substantial too early. They know what this exit means, and they have to do almost everything that they can in order to ensure that they properly stick the landing. This is not, after all, a very easy thing for them to do given ten years of history for this character.
