‘The Mentalist’ season 6 finale spoilers: Is there trouble for Jane and Lisbon?
“The Mentalist” is gearing up for the answer to one of the show’s most-lingering questions: Are we going to finally see Jane and Lisbon get together after all this time? You will get an answer to that one way or another very soon.
What we can tell you right now is that if the two are going to have a happy ending, they will be forced into going through a little bit of drama first. According to some tiny images posted over on TVLine, there is going to be a scene in this episode where Lisbon seemingly throws a drink in Jane’s face, and then storms out of the room. What could compel her to do that? We have a few theories.
1. Maybe this is all a red herring, and it is a cover operation for a case for them to be fighting. (We can hope, right?)
2. There is some genuine conflict stewing right now when it comes to whether or not the two parties can actually function as friends. Maybe Jane blindsides her with the news of his feelings as the worst opportune time.
3. Maybe she is just not ready to process what is being said to her, and is reacting here mostly out of anger after being kept in the dark for so long.
The only thing that is seemingly guaranteed right now when it comes to the finale for “The Mentalist” is that Lisbon’s relationship with Pike has been a net positive, mostly because it has opened Jane’s eyes to the fact that he does care for this woman. However, he now has to do something about it if he wants this relationship to actually happen. It’s not all going to just come to him.

Well I do not see the show in their fall lineup and I am hearing nothing about any other network picking it up …. I think it was despicable of CBS not to even announce it to the many fans waiting to hear.

I would like to see Jane and Lisbon get together in the finale, but if that whole throwing water in Jane’s face is meant the way I think it is, then I don’t think that is going to happen.
oh please...

do you really have to post the same thing on EVERY article. jane and Lisbon’s chemistry has been building up for 6 seasons and I guarantee they will get together. the writers’ priority is to satisfy fans and the majority of fans would like to see them together. plus, the mentalist wouldn’t be including scenes where jane is seemingly jealous of pike&lisbon if it wasn’t heading somewhere

First off like I said, I would like to see Jane and Lisbon together at the end of the finale. I’m just stating my opionion and I can’t help it if my opionion right now, seemes to be that Jane and Lisbon aren’t going to end up together.
Second my response was of my first impression of the two photos mentioned in the article, it wasn’t until a while later that I had come up with another explination which could favor them getting together. Oddly I’m suprised that the writer of the article didn’t think of it, though they came close to it.
Besides what I had originally thought that scene could have been caused bacuse Jane had invited the team to dinner but Lisbon didn’t know and had thought that Jane had asked her out on a date and then when everyone elseshowed up she realized it wasn’t a date and that is why she threw that water at his face. That’s besides the possiblity that it was part of some con.
Unless you have some type of inside info, you can’t really guarantee that Jane and Lisbon will end up together.
They could easily be having scenes where Jane seems jealous or is jealous just to make everyone think that Jane and Lisbon can get together. I mean remember Pike so far has been a model boyfriend, not trying to manlipulate Lisbon into make the decsion, not making decsions for her, and not lying to her, and caring about her. All things that Jane hasn’t either done or hasn’t done enough of.
I mean in the end it’s up to Lisbon and what she wants, she can easily decside that she wants Pike.
Also don’t forget that they ended up making alot of fans of the Red John story line mad by how that played out and by having McAllister being Red John, so I wouldn’t put it past them to end up upsetting Jisbon fans.

“…the writers’ priority is to satisfy fans and the majority of fans would like to see them together.”
Really? Well, they’ve done a super good job so far. :P
But yeah, I do hope they FINALLY got a heart and listen to the things their fans want. Castle proves that getting people together can work. You just have to do it right, Mr. Heller.

To me Castle and Bones do a good job a depicting relationships, I mean they show the ups and the downs and that relationships aren’t always perfect. For some reason whenever people think about two characters getting together that their relationship has to be perfect all the time.
