‘Game of Thrones’ season 4, episode 6 preview: Emilia Clarke, Peter Dinklage press ahead
“Game of Thrones” Sunday night continued to provide some great shockers and stories, whether it be Danaerys realizing that being a ruler is more than just conquering, and also the comedy of errors when it came to Podrick and Brienne.
Next week’s episode carries with it the title of “The Laws of Gods and Men,” which is not the most revealing title that we have ever seen on the show. However, the official synopsis below gives you at least a tiny idea about what is coming up for a few characters … including (ugh) Stannis. Let’s hope that story picks up:
“Stannis and Davos set sail; Dany meets with supplicants; Tyrion faces down his father.”
The promo after tonight’s episode teased a few more developments, with the most interesting one being that for the first time, Tywin Lannister is starting to really worry about what Dany is up to. We know that she is a major threat now with her army, but she still needs to make further plans … especially now that others can prepare for her.
Meanwhile, Tyrion’s trial looks to be an important part of this story, and that is something that we are beyond excited to see. Peter Dinklage was sorely missing from this story, and we have to figure out if there is a way that he can possibly get out of his present (and rather horrible) predicament … especially when you remember that the entire ordeal seems like a set-up.
