‘The Walking Dead’ season 5 spoilers: Norman Reedus speaks out on road ahead
“The Walking Dead” season 5 is getting set to dive into production, and for most of its cast this really means one thing: Working long hours in the hot Georgia sun over the course of the summer. They may be paid well for their work, but they’re still earning it with these conditions, and the challenges of playing some pretty tough characters and situations.
Almost every character right now, save for exceptions like Tyreese, Beth, and Carol, are all in the same situation. They are stuck within train car A, trying to figure out how in the world they are going to get out, and be able to live once they do.
Clearly, none of the case can really tease the story much out of fear out of AMC sending a zombie horde at them, but Norman Reedus did tell Entertainment Weekly that things are going to be so crazy, he had to physically prepare before going into it:
“From what I know, it’s gonna be just completely insane … I sort of knew I needed like a good month to rest to jump in. The storyline they’re throwing me is a thousand miles an hour.”
We can’t really blame Norman, given that it looks like there will be a relentless stream of violence ahead for everyone. You’re not going to get out of that train car by singing a lullaby that makes everyone at Terminus fall asleep. Your options are either to come up with the world’s most brilliant plan, or rely on someone else to save you. Both are certainly easier said than done.
