‘Sleepy Hollow’ season 2 spoilers: Introducing the premiere title
Remember all that we’ve said about “Sleepy Hollow” season 2 starting up production a little bit earlier than some other shows? Well, here’s some proof that the show is really getting set to begin the journey early.
In a post on Twitter, show writer-producer Albert Kim confirmed that the name for the upcoming premiere episode is none other than “Hellfire,” which is probably the exact title that you expected for a show like this. It’s not exactly the most original name out there, but did you really expect anything else for this show? It’s more about the action and the characters than what it chooses to do with a name.
When season 1 left off, most of our characters were not even close to being in a good situation. Ichabod Crane had his wife Katrina back, but he lost Abbie, who is now trapped in a similar sort of prison to what Katrina was in. Meanwhile, his son Jeremy is the War Horseman of the Apocalypse, and his biggest ally higher up on the force than Abbie in Captain Irving is now off stuck in prison in a different part of New York. This is not a show where things are going to get better anytime soon; instead, they are going to get worse far before they ever get better. This excites us, but also makes us wonder as to how much more terrible they can make things for the cast before it starts to feel like it is a little much. Eventually, don’t these people deserve some sort of win.
We will find out the official premiere date for “Sleepy Hollow” at the Fox upfront presentation next month.
