‘Grey’s Anatomy’ season 10, episode 22 preview: Isaiah Washington’s return in video form
Just in case you wondering how many feels the “Grey’s Anatomy” arc for Cristina was really going to give you before she leaves, here’s your answer: SO MANY. After watching the promo for next week’s “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together,” it is pretty easy to see just how emotional this story is going to be.
Isaiah Washington coming back on the show was never a given, thanks largely to what happened to cause him to depart in the first place. Shonda Rhimes still saw the value in this return appearance for Dr. Preston Burke, and it is going to be a tough one to swallow. Apparently, the years of distance between these two characters has not stopped their hearts from beating a little faster, but time has changed. Cristina found another great love in Owen, even if things did not work out for them, either.
The synopsis below does not tell you anything else about Dr. Burke, but it will at least do a good job filling you in about the rest of the story ahead:
“Cristina looks to Meredith for advice as she assesses her future at the hospital. Derek and Amelia work together on a difficult surgery involving conjoined twins. Meanwhile, Jo is spread too thin when she tries to work on several cases at once and Stephanie realizes the truth about Bailey’s bubble boy case.”
Apologies for not touching on many of the other stories, but it’s hard given that we haven’t been able to really discuss anything in regards to Burke in ages. One of the great things about the timing here is that this allows for an opportunity for her to move forward in her life completely with the closure that she wants. Also, it doesn’t cause her final moments on the show to be with a guy who left so many years ago.

I am sure you watch some crappy show. Some of us actual fans and medical professional solve this show. Why are you even watching next weeks preview if you just want to blast your crappy opinion? Go watch some reality tv with the rest of the lemmings.
